This site is dedicated to a form of music that we call "Deepfunk", which is a term originally used by Keb Darge as a descriptive title for his club night at Madame Jo Jo's. Over the years the sound has been been driven by the dancers, DJs and collectors and although often misunderstood by many, it has become a way of life for the dedicated few.
